Together we are EPic

In 2016 / 2017 my sister and I were diagnosed with stage 2 Breast Cancer just six weeks apart. Having lost our father Pat to pancreatic cancer aged 40 and mum Frances to lung cancer in 2008 aged 67, Cathy and I were determined to survive.

Following full mastectomies, gruelling chemotherapy and living with the subsequent daily pain, exercise played a huge part in our recovery. We were blown away by the huge impact it had on our physical recovery and mental well-being.

Race for Life

Cathy and I remain so grateful to have survived cancer and in appreciation of this wanted to play a part in maintaining awareness of this dreadful disease whilst giving a little back through some fundraising activity.

In 2018 we participated in x9 Race for Life 10k’s across the UK.

Our next stEP

To continue giving back and to show our never ending gratitude, Cathy and I frequently run races together to raise money for charity.
